Arts Meridian Peer Group Network; A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life

With the official demise of Arts Meridian through the lack of Arts Council funding a group of fellow artists has decided to continue to work towards an exhibition in September 2018 self-directed, but under the guidance of Linda Ingham.  Glynne Bulman has agreed to chair and coordinate the group.

Initial Meeting

  • The initial meeting for this group took place at The Discovery Centre on Saturday 21st October.  Glynne presented a power point to the group of work from different artists (including photographers) to show how the project might be approached;
  • The priority will be to produce a body of work as a group as well as a personal one;
  • The next meeting will be in January and group members should present ideas or initial pieces of work;
  • Linda would put in a bid to the Arts Council through Arts Meridian;
  • The prime object will be an exhibition during September/October 2018 which would be at The Discovery Centre.
My initial ideas for this project are:-
  • An AV presentation with my own sound recording as I have done for my Shul project;
  • A time lapse piece of work;
  • Some sort of collage
  • A small selection of Exhibition prints.
