After my first visit to the Louth Canal, I felt that I wanted to return to Willows Lock as I had not quite captured the images I was after. Whilst I was there I was delighted to find a pair of grey wagtails feeding chicks. I wouldn't normally combine my wildlife photography with my degree work, but in this case I feel that it is another example of the re-wilding of the canal's industrial past. It is not just plants that reclaim the old locks.
